Real Estate Website Design: How BRD Media Launched My Realtor Site in One Week

What real estate website design looks like when it’s built around how an agent actually works: the story behind vlirosi.com, from a dead domain to a live 17-page site in seven days.

The short version

Good real estate website design does three jobs at once: it makes an agent findable in search, it shows visitors exactly which situations the agent handles, and it captures every lead the moment someone reaches out. This site is what that looks like in practice.

  • From signed agreement to a live site in one week: July 27 to August 3.
  • 17 pages built around real specialties, not a template: probate, downsizing, divorce, short sales, selling fast, buying.
  • 14 lead-capture forms wired into a CRM with source tracking, plus a rebuilt Google Business Profile.
  • A 95% technical health score on the first independent audit crawl, and pages entering Google’s rankings within two weeks.

For years I had the opposite of good real estate website design. I’m a Realtor and a licensed home inspector, and most of my business comes from situations that take real judgment: probate and estate sales, senior downsizing, sellers who need to move quickly. But my old website domain had gone dead, my Zillow and Realtor.com profiles pointed at sites that no longer existed, and the only page that really represented me was my profile on my brokerage’s site. If you searched online for the kind of help I specialize in, you were not going to find me.

That changed this summer when I saw BRD Media’s real estate website design work and hired them to build vlirosi.com from scratch. I signed with them on July 27. The site you are reading right now went live on August 3, one week later.

What real estate website design should include: my build checklist

If you are an agent thinking about your own site, this is what BRD Media delivered in that first week and the weeks right after launch. Use it as a checklist for any realtor website design project:

  • A 17-page realtor website built around how I work: dedicated pages for probate and estate sales, senior downsizing, divorce, short sales and pre-foreclosure, and selling a house fast, plus buyer pages and city pages for Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, and Des Plaines.
  • 14 lead-capture forms wired into a CRM: I get an email the moment someone reaches out, I can see which page they came from, and nothing slips through the cracks.
  • My Google Business Profile rebuilt: corrected details, all nine towns I serve, and twelve services named the way people actually search for them, with a weekly posting schedule.
  • My Zillow, Homes.com, and Realtor.com profiles cleaned up and pointed at the new site, so every road leads to the same place.
  • A blog with real guides in my own voice, like my home inspection checklist for buyers, instead of filler content.

What a new real estate agent website can do in two weeks

I want to be straight about the results, because that is how I run my own business. The site went live on August 3 and scored a 95% technical health rating on its first independent audit crawl. Within the first two weeks, the new pages had already begun entering Google’s rankings for the searches we are targeting across Mount Prospect and the surrounding suburbs. Search visibility compounds over months, not days, and nobody serious should promise otherwise. What I have today is the thing I never had before: a live, fast, professionally built foundation, with every inquiry tracked, and a team actively building on it every week.

In my own words

“I went from a dead domain and a handful of outdated profiles to a complete website, a rebuilt Google presence, and a system that catches every lead, and the site was live one week after I signed. If your business depends on being found online, BRD Media is who I would call.”
